Yay for finishing the hat! I had a return to knitting recently and can’t believe I never tried making a hat until this recent return. They are so fun! I finished a baby hat that is going to become my go to baby gift. Too bad most of my friends are done having kids!

Cute hat. With the weather in the midwest today, hats are important. The last thing I knitted was supposed to be a baby’s hat but ended up just random badly made stitches. I took a knitting class and flunked horribly.

Love the hat. Yes. I’m so afraid to commit to something because I cannot. finish. anything. these days. I’ve completely lots that thrill of just throwing myself into something.

I fel you Amie, I kind of find myself at almost 40 with so many half finsihed projects. Not because I am afraid to fail but because I always bite more than I ccan chew and I have to spit out. My greatest fear today is that I may not fulfil my one greatest dream of all; which is to write a book. Alas I tell myself that this is still very achieveable. Fine had by the way, very good effort. Knitting is also one of my dreams that is yet to be fulfiled- need to take lessons from my mom some day soon. With a full time job, 2 amazing kids, a hussy and sporadic blogging mania I hope my dreams will some day come true.

I am so similar to you, I am going to be 40 next years and I have so many dreams and tons of half finished projects. Unlike you I am not afriad to finish I just try to chew too much at every point in time and end up with undigested food in form of projects, dreams or goals. With a full time job, 2 kids and a hussy I find myseld feeling afriad I will not get the chance to fulfil my greatest dream of all which is to write a book. Fine hat by the way I have been hoping to learn how to knit from my mom but that is not done yet; maybe soon enough.
